It's hard for me to reply to my own question. Im not that thrilled with Obama but I know Hillary is hated by most people. So since I know electing McCain would just be four more years of what bush wants; I would have to vote for Obama if the election was today.

McCain, i think he'll fuckup the least... sad thing when we vote for the one that'll fuckup the least and not the one that'll do the best job

God, I agree it is really bad that we have to choose the candidate we dis-like the least. We at one time were the most powerful country in the world. Also I thought the premise was for us to choose our leaders. I didn't choose any of these people to run as my president. Do we really have any say in our government any more?

Obama who i voted for in the primaries.

I would vote for Obama because i dont think Hillary is terrible but Obama is a better choice. And for the republican candidates i think voting right wing is pretty much commiting intellectual suicide and supporting fascism. No offense to anyone who would vote right wing though but thats how i feel.

Well, I'm still 1/2 a year away from being old enough to vote but if I could, I wouldn't vote for any of them. I'm really not thrilled about Obama and Clinton or McCain. Though I suppose if I HAD to choose one, I'd choose McCain. I'm not really a republican, but so far 'round here I hear the least shit about him. One way or another the country is going to hell.

I don't like any of them fully. They all have good things going for them but they also have bad things following them as well. I'd say Hilary, since Clinton once had our economy in its best shape, until a certian tyrant we all love to hate stepped in office. I think Bill will have a voice in it and help her to better our country. Since our biggest problems right now are gas, economy, and the war. Jon McCain - who has become a sell out to washington; and ironically from my state; Arizona. - Would be good for the war since he himself served in war and was a POW I think would clean it up better. I might just vote for Mickey Mouse though....

Obama is BY FAR the best canidate.

For those of you saying you are not thrilled about this election because of all the negative information you are hearing... so much of it is propoganda and media pushed... you are not hearing what they canidates are really saying unless you are watching an 24 hr coverage channel on tv or reading tons and tons about the current race. (Ive turned into a bit of a politics junkie as of late). Before you fead into the stuff you are hearing about all of this do your research. This is one of the most important elections of this generation. It is a time when OUR vote can really change how this country is run. I usually agree with the fact that our vote does not much matter but this time it does. We should all take the time to learn about each canidate and make an educated decision on who should be the next president!! Be excited about this time of change!!

Back to the choices and canidates getting shit...
The only reason McCain is not getting shit, is because it is still the primaries and he is not running against anyone for the republican spot!! and the only reason Obama is being scrutinized because Hillary plays dirty and the media runs with the negative portrayal! (why are they not focusing on all of her trip ups?? because obama refuses to play dirty!! he focuses on making us knowledable about his plans and what he wants to change)

Obama's campaign is all about CHANGE. and its all in a positive way. you all are obviously internet savy and can do the research yourselves... so go for it... but its really not a hard choice once you really educate yourself on each canidates plans (and if you are truely educated on the political campaign i always respect differences in opinion). Obama is also the canidate who is MOST honest and will really try to impliment the things he talks about. He does not talk about changes in policies that he can not influence or would be impossible for him to change.

The few speeches and debates that I have seen or read, I have noticed a significant difference between Obama and Clinton. That is that Obama has wonderfully written responses that are great at drumming up support and excitement while Clinton tends to respond to the questions with a statement that essentially says "I have a comprehensive plan for that outlined on my website." This obviously does not exactly invoke excitement and enthusiasm in most, but for me this is far more reassuring then eloquent speeches. She is a strong supporter of developing our education system in the ways that it needs. Since I work in the education field and am finishing a degree in Adolescent Special Education I find this very appealing. Also she has been a big proponent of universal health care, which I feel is desperately needed in this country. I mean, 48 million Americans without health care, come on. She made a strong push for this during her time as first lady in the 90's and when her efforts in this were met with too great of resistance she moved to just expanding coverage for children and succeeded to a degree. To me, Hillary seems as if she is truly ready to take action and improve the conditions of everyday Americans.
Though if Hillary does not receive the democratic nomination then I will surely vote for Obama. We need government action and from the Speeches of McCain's that I have read, he seems to be more for government inaction, which would be intolerable at this point.
