Vegitarian anyone?

My goal is for the truth to permeate though the clouds of irremediable attitudes and aid humans in taking earth’s creatures into consideration. To shift consciousness into a new paradigm of love and respect for all life and the coexistence of all species. In fact, over 9 BILLION chickens, cattle, hogs, and other farm animals are born, raised, and slaughtered in places that will make the worst inner-city ghetto you’ve ever seen, look like George H.W.Bush’s Kennebunkport mansion. Why, it seems easier for human beings to lack this knowledge as a particular fact, than to take responibility for their own choices. Yes, im angry. It just seems like nonsense.

It is very sad that this happens to animals.
Soon I will try an "experiment", well more of an assignment... but anyway, and I will see if it works.
We have to do something we have never done before, for a week, then write about the experience.
I am going to try to be vegetarian.
Maybe it will stick?

You know, it will as long as you realize that your not actually limiting what you eat. If anything, you will be opening up to a whole new world of possibilities outside the meals centered around meat paradigm. The positive aspects are numerous and you will probably even loose weight after a week.Not only that believe me it feels good to finish a delicous meal KNOWING you didnt just support the abuse of factory farm animals- that is, if you choose to think about it. Its amazing that my post actualy made somone think about what they support when they eat meat in our time right now. All it really takes is some compassion.

Yeah.
I hope I stick to it because if I stop and think about what I'm eating I don't want to eat it anymore. I love animals and that's another plus, but also it sort of changes your lifestyle but then thats a choice you have to make.
If I don't stick to it at first I can always try again.

I honor your ability to put these words on here :) You see, I made a collage of animal sacrafices- it showed heaps of dead birds speared from the sky just for man's entertainment. I wonder how they would feel if they were flying and then shot. It's like being at the gullitoine for no reason.Someone just shoved your head under the blade for pure enjoyment.
My goal as well, is to support these creatures ( and protecting the forest- it really is such a wonderful place, full of life)so I have become a vegetarian and a ativist, i guess.

I've been cutting back on the amount of meat I eat. I want to gradually try to be a vegatarian.
I watched the Peta video on what happens at the factorys and it made me sick to think we could be so cruel.
I will never wear fur either and learning how they take the fur is just infuritaing.

I'm been a vegetarian for four years now but I advise anyone wanting to start this diet to watch your iron and protein intake. I developed anaemia a few months ago and I'm now on daily iron tablets to combat it. Make sure you're eating healthily because vegitarianism takes proper commitment.
Peta have some good stuff on their site, they even sent me out a free recipe book :)

Just raising an idea that may start hell.
In the bible, it says animals were put on earth for humans.
&& what about those that go organic or,,, the free range animals?

As far as iv'e been able to tell the bible is a book of patriarchial lies. I believe its up to each of us to make our own minds as to whats right and wrong. If its right for you to be a vegitarian, sweet. If its right for you to eat meat.. free range would be a much better source (if it is indeed free-range), but sweet , x2. Its all good. I think that animals are here to be a part of one of the giant gear that keeps this world going. Everything has many purposes here. To think animals were put here for humans alone to torture and confine to feed our growing population is a self absorbed additude. The people can make up their own minds once they choose to intergrate the knowledge of the factory farm meat machine.
