i love how angela can sound so much better than other male vocalist. but in my opinion shamaya already won, because she's not shy to put her opinion out there.

I didn't know who Arch Enemy was, so I checked them out on "the google". I think they are cut from the same cloth as Motley Crue, Quiet Riot etc... with a touch more tallent but, bubble gum rock never the less. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure they'd be a good concert but' their fire is all smoke & mirriors. Ms. Shamayas' fire is straight from the deepest pits of hell, unless she's fakeing it & I can't imagine that ANYONE could fake the pian & molten metal fury that she seems to have. If they were to meet, it would probly end in something Beautiful..... but, if they were to fight, I'm quite sure Ms. Gossow would piss herself & run off whimpering like a whipped puppy. It's not the size of the man/woman in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the man/woman & Otep is dripping with fight & fury!!!

Otep. I think she one ups angela by alot. Arch enemy is good but I dont see her on "people who you must meet before you die" lists. Otep is prettier too, Angela's mouth is kinda scary and oteps lyrics seem much deeper & intellectual. =/

Honestly,
I'm tired of people even comparing the two, Angela Gossow is a phenomenal vocalist, but lacks originalinty and vocal range, although she seems like a revolutionary, let's face it. We may not be able to voice it the same way, but any one of us has the ability to write the lyrics and feelings composed in an Arch ememy song.

Otep on the other hand is on a completly different playing field, Shamaya speaks of things in her muse-sick and poetry, that we all are able to feel. not to mention her godly, titan-like voice, Otep has been throgh much more than Gossow and to even compare the two is an understatement to Otep. Her lyrics are composed of things the likes of us, other hue-myn beings could never dream of or imagine.

Otep has saved much more of us than Gossow thinks she can, let us not forget that Sevas Tra is our battle cry.

well...I don't think that we can compare these ladies... they're so different (voice, metal genre, stage performance etc). If I had to think a female vocalist to compare with Otep, she would be probably Candace from Walls of Jericho...
If I had to compare Angela with someone, that would be Sabina from Holy Moses...
