OTEP - THE LEGION

People like the idea that there is something out there keeping track of all the good things you do, so you can be rewarded. And that there is something out there keeping track of all the bad things people do to you, so they can be punished. We just hate the idea of things not adding up like they are supposed to...

Ever notice how in a lot of movies, things come out nice and even at the end? All the bad people get punished, the good people get rewarded and praised and everything is just hunkey-dorey. Except that's not how things happen in the real world. A lot of the time just a bunch of fucked up shit happens and then that's it. What the fuck.

Expanding on this thought, it's similar to how when something really bad happens, people tell themselves "everything happens for a reason" Then, at some point, something good will happen to them. It's bound to happen sooner or later, bad luck can't hold out forever. And that's when they say "Ah-ha! This bad thing had to happen, so that this good thing could happen! It was all part of the plan!"
But it was all just random chance folks. Nobody up there is keeping score, nobody is gonna make sure things come out the way they ought to.

Dear beloved,

being a believer in Christ does not change on the basis of weather or not you go to church, so be so hard on your self. church is a place to fellowship, pray, and show love and support to other belivers. what it is not is a means for salvation. you sepnd to much time in church you start forgetting about the people outside its walls, most of the people that spend all there time running around the church, bustling about, are prideful self-rightouse folk that don't have the slightest of who God really is. Beloved if you go to VOM on your search engine enter there web-site they have a free book they will send to you ontop of a weekly magazine if you want to get involved you should check it out:) be blessed brother!

Mark 2:18
then the scribes of the Pharisees saw that He was eating with the sinners and tax collectors, they said to His disciples, "Why is He eating and drinking with tax collectors and sinners?"and hearing this, Jesus said to them, "It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick; I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners."
matthew 23:27
"Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which on the outside appear beautiful, but inside they are full of dead men's bones and all uncleanness.

Mark 12:23
To love God with all your heart, with all your understanding, and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself is more important than all the burnt offerings and sacrifices."
