i dont practice the drums very often cause the damn neighbors yell at me lol
i dont think im that bad but definitely not good enough for an otep song and i dont have a double bass pedal yet :P
Aah, hehe. Annoying neighbors sucks.
I guess you have an acoustic kit?
Blood Pigs is pretty easy on the drums, and you don't need a double bass pedal for that song.
But you have to be good with the single pedal.
You could propably learn some of the easier songs with some practice :)
Well, I could say that I'm pretty good on the drums.
I can play many Otep songs, and also some Meshuggah, Lamb of God, Coal Chamber, Korn and a lot of those mainstream beats.
And I can also play a lot of funky beats haha :D
And how can you play ghostflowers and warhead on your guitar? How do you know the tabs for it? And if you got the tabs for it from internet, from a guitar/song tab website how the do those people know what the tabs are who put them there? It's totally absurd. Because its a fact that you really cant just hear them and note them down if you hear the song, which im pretty sure of. And i have a guitar myself and i dont even know what kind of instrument i hear when you hear a popular song. Thats how retardedly inflated it all sounds after the f*ing record company business are finished with it. Turning a completely brown straight shit into a dressed christmas tree. Making rape be fantastic.

i figure out all the tabs by ear and i usually dont write them down. i dont know if this makes sense but when you are trying to learn the notes played in a song you really arnt listening to the song, but rather the individual instrument. it sounds simple but it takes a really long time to be able to do that and you have to be really patient.
I've played the drums for over 5 years now, and I am picking up piano and guitar and synthesizing to hopefully make my own music.
I enjoy learning the drums from the Otep songs the most.
