Due to my current thoughts on issues in my life & in politics(I live in DC...the hotbed of issues) & my sexual preference it's nice to have a place to talk to others with the same thoughts & ideals.

They cancelled devildriver? Thats.. retarted.. Devildriver is a christian project.. Well, sort of, the name comes from some thing from some culture, that drove away malicious/evil spirits, cant remember where I read that now, but thats where there name comes from. But there songs are all about the wrath of god "fury of our makers hand" for example.I guess, although much of the bible could in a sense be called the devils work for where it has been manipulating, like my psych once told me marriages were between men and women to keep property for the church or something back in the old days.. Not educated on the full facts there, but theres other things. However, obviously it has nothing to do with anything involving facts or thinking, its simply fast paced music and thats where they have the problem.. Sorry for using the word "like" otep XD

Trenton your completely right. I cant belive how stupid people are sometimes. Like common, blame the people who put thier lives on the line for the liberty of others? Yeah.. that makes sense. I can see on the occaision where you get the psycho soliders that have done bad things in history, but its not like all of them started out that way anyways. Sometimes things just happen and its too much to bear.. Like your wife leaving you because your always out fighting war, and because she cant take being alone. and then you feel so alone, lost in a world of bombings and bloodshed after the only thing you relied on, the love of your life, left you. Alot of people cant bare that kinda stress. But yeah, the soliders have nothing to do with the war. Do the people at the car shops who fix your cars have anything to do with the the companys like gm who went and destroyed the electric car back when it was first made? The biggest issue the US faces is its unregulated buisness, who go out of country to get cheap sweatshop labour for profits, leaving a nation BUILT on te industrial working class with few jobs and so many people out of work..

Love yourself first because thats most important. Just remember love is love, it is not how selfish, unselfish, flawed, or perfect you are. Some people love themselves by becoming over confident and arrogant, selfish, others do it by being unselfish, give everything for everybody else and care not for yourself, no matter what you do, loving yourself is about just that, not about how you deal with it. And we will all have regrets, thats normal. We need to love ourselves and look past those things that bring us down.

in the name of acceptance i would like to say that just because someone is in the military doesnt mean that we are babykillers or any of the shit like that that is spread around i'm a marine and am probably one of the most open minded and caring people that you will meet but because of what ive done with my life whenever i say that i am a US Marine, negative connotations are always implied. Just get to know me before you judge me and throw me into the stereotype bowl along with everyone else. And even if you dont support the war you should still support the troops all we do is follow orders its the big broter that you should fight and curse not the guys and gals that are putting our lives on the line for some political bullshit

Ive accepted that people are not accepting
and frankly I don't care
I, like you ( probably ) find myself judging the people around me just like they judge me. When I see a group of guys wearing matching polos, fo hawks and there collars are popped, YEAH im going to write them off.

Here in South Africa we were expecting DevilDriver this weekend. but the show got cancelled cos too many people complained about them bringing the dvil to SA. It was so sad. I got my ticket in July. Can't they accept that people have diff tastes and just let us be? :(
