Okay, so i have no way of embedding a video.
Straight up, I have no camera.

And maybe that means i have no way of qualifying, but whatever.
This might all be over anyway...poor kids don't get the net all the time.
Just being able to say what i feel like i have needed to say for so long...
that will be enough honor.

I hope that some one, no matter who it is will understand just how inspiring, motivational, and supportive this band and this woman have been to me.

In a world where
the things you see on a day to day basis feast on your faith in humanity...
where your inner doubts and speculations condem you to apathy...

Otep is the candel in my darkness.

Combined with the words of their lovely leading lady and their lyrics,
they have offered me a glimpse at a better tomorrow. a world where action can overcome apathy. a world where your sorrow and your pain can truely be transformed from agony into knowledge. a world where you are never alone, because someone, somewhere is/was/will fight the same darkness that is/was/will sorround(ing/ed) you.

From them i have learned that the broken parts of me do not make me less of a person. They do not mean that I have less to offer. They mean that I am stronger, more resilient, more knowledgable. They mean that I have more offer. More compassion, more understanding, more reason to fight.

The things that beat us down do not have to consume us.
They can themselves provide us with the drive to beat them down.
To triumph over them and free ourselves from their bonds.

That moment you realize that you can over come something that has nearly eaten you alive is beautiful. The moment that you finally destroy it is unforgetable. These moments fill you with courage...

If you can help yourself, maybe can help someone else, maybe you can help 10 other people, maybe 100, and so on. If you can take down the things that seem to destroy your own personal world, maybe you can help take down the things that are destroying the world.

OTEP HAS GIVEN ME THE COURAGE TO STAND UP, SPEAK OUT, STRIKE BACK!

I deserve to be in the DVD because dammit I eat,breath,choke, and spit OTEP!! Because I am 43 years old and manhandled peeps half my age for threes hours at the show without relinquishing my spot front and center in front of the "goddess" herself! Because I singlehandly turned half of my city (Spokane Wa.) onto this incredble act! Because I screamed so long and so hard at this show I almost needed surgery to repair my throat! Because in order to see this show I told my probation officer to "@#$% himself" and later had to do thirty days in jail for probation violation! Because I walk the walk and talk the talk and do everything in my power on a daily basis to spread the word, and to do my best to help the blinded see, and the deaf hear. I try my best to make this planet a better place for ALL...... and cause I LOVE this band! Thank You.

Hi!!!
I think it's not possible selecting only one person. We must be all united.
Why to put us all in competition, while we are already with so many fuck**g philistines around us???
For me, that doesn't make sense!!!
The best solution, I think, is to organize some kind of "Woodstock", as in the 70s!!!
Nothing formal, just the band and the fans!!!
Madman's thing, never made previously, a kind of community auto-regulated, just the time of the event...
I hope my proposition will be studied!!!
