FreeRice is a vocabulary game. Each time you get a word right, 20 grains of rice is donated by the World Food Program to help end world hunger. The rice is paid for by the advertisers that appear on the bottom of the vocabulary screen
Day of Silence is a project of the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), a student-led day of action when concerned students, from middle school to college, take some form of a vow of silence to bring attention to the name-calling, bullying and harassment.
