You're like the first snow of winter.
looking so magical floating about in the air
yet burning my skin with every bitter cold touch.
you looked so lovely, so perfect staring back at me
when you confessed your love that day
i should have known it would never truely be
and now im all alone, so much more to say
but no one here to listen on this bitter sweet day
your love was a lie, you have killed me inside
theres no tears to cry, but this hurt i cannot hide
of all things to do, why did you leave?
of this i am thinking when i cant sleep
it hurts to read stories and hear tales of your kind
because i know your still out there
and im trying to find
the me that i lost when you left me behind
this heartache i have is worse than death
but because of you i am immortal
was this your sick game
leave me to suffer alone for eternity
waiting until i can bear it no more
to finally come back and laugh in my face?
thinking about this i begin to pace and wonder
why did you hurt me after all your promises
