Magnetic poetry part 3
This was life..joy.. Foolishly embracing trust, thinking it would not end, could not.. Falling down as my veins freeze over. A prisoner in my own mind, dancing in my feverish state as it surrounds me, stealing my breath. I need to breathe.. Learn from my mistakes. Love = pain. My heart shatters like glass, pouring it into a burning eternity. How can u break what is already broken? Feeling naked & translucent i cut away at the decay. Still, your haunting memory lingers & i welcome the fire, though i just want to live...

Magnetic poetry part 2
From the deeply decaying dark secrets of myself, a bleeding red breath. The brilliantly sacred rhythem piercing as if it were fire. Cut my eyes free of this poison life, streaming clouds into eternity. I am slowly killing, devouring my heart.

Magnetic poetry part 1
I bleed, blinded by the decay piercing my eyes. Never knowing if the pain seeping in from my broken heart will melt away. It's haunting, like steel boring into the smoke stream of rotting life, surrounding a lingering desire though almost devouring me slowly. Kill the free will to trust in these words as i die. Never question the fire of eternity within. Peace perhaps born from dirt. A prisoner in a poisen web. A needle ablaze after long cool nights.

I recently picked up Otep's poetry book "Caught Screaming". It's an amazing collection of Otep Shamaya's own poetry. Don't expect to find it in any bookstore because it can only be ordered online. Do pick it up if you can.

Just a fyi, I recently picked up this thing called a magnetic poetry set. Says it has about 400 words in it, its the poets addition. Break the words up, stick em on your fridge & put them together. Such a great tool for one with writers block, I've written 3 poems with it so far. You'll be surprised how far it can take you. Its says in the booklet that comes with it people like Tom Petty have used it for writing songs. Let me know if you decide to pick one up, I'd like to see what everyone gets out of it. www.magneticpoetry.com
